What equipment is needed?
You should arrive at the lessons with your snowboard equipment after making sure that it is suitable and with warm clothes.
Should I wear protective gear?
Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended.
For beginners, wrist guards are also recommended.
Is the lift pass included in the course?
No.
You must come to the course with your lift pass ("Espace Liberté Châtel" or "Portes du Soleil" for the Freeride training course.

The lift pass is free for children under 5 years old, but you must go to the lift ticket office to ask for a free pass. A proof of age will be required, so don't forget to bring your child's ID card.

We also advise you to insure your children with the Carte Neige licence or the Snowrisk ticket.
I have never skied before, can I join the Snowboard course?
Skiing and snowboarding are two completely different disciplines and it is possible to start snowboarding without having ever skied.
